Galeelakunnu St.Mary's Jacobite syrian Church, Ooramana stands on the top of a beautiful hill in Ooramana. It is located in Ramamangalam Panchayath, Muvattupuzha Thaluk of Ernakulam district in Kerala state. The Church belongs to the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church under the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East. In India it is in Kadanadu diocese of Malankara Archdiocese of Universal Syriac Orthodox Church (Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Church).Vicar of Church is Rev. Fr. Elias Karottumangalum. Ooramana is a place known for communal harmony, people belongs to different religions live harmoniously. There are a number of ancient Hindu Temples also.
